Although we do sometimes receive donations of unwanted and broken guitars to transform, we also go out and buy them. We can frequently be found trawling junk shops, eBay and Facebook Marketplace for the unwanted and unloved (and we also buy guitars from you!)
Our target is to spend no more than £150 in total, which includes the original guitar, and then the repairs, spare parts, strings and the makeover to make it into something new and rock’n’roll enough. So we’d love your donations of £££$$$€€€.
You’ll find a range of different price points to donate here – we use PayPal, you don’t need to have an account with PayPal, you can pay by using ‘pay with credit/debit card’ or ‘pay as guest’, but you will need to register with us for legal reasons so that we can track the charitable donations. The vendor will currently show up as ‘Derelict Guitars & Elle’s Guitars’ – this is Derelict Stuff Limited t/a Derelict Guitars, our primary guitar-building partner.
