For someone who doesn’t like Strats, I do seem to be enjoying this range of relic’d SSH SuperStrats. This one is black sparkle over metallic blue, and it was to be the first of the Young Artist Programme, but the young fella in question has been grounded for fighting and generally being a little shite all summer, so his parents have asked to postpone him for a year as a carrot to try and make him behave. So very rock & roll.
It’s going on the market instead. Sapele body, maple neck with ebony fretboard, Wlikinson pickups, including a Zebra humbucker, and a Gotoh tremolo system – and I finally gave the brushed aluminium pickguard a home.
