She’s coming together nicely – electronics are all soldered, and that Antiquity humbucker in the neck position is LOUD. I did, however, decide that the fancy engraved hardware didn’t really ‘go’, so we’re back to plain chrome. A yellow marble partial pickguard is also looking more the part than the brushed aluminium. Some cleaning up and a few neck adjustments and I can fit the locking tuners, then it’s just a bit of buffing and she’ll be ready to string. The raffle still has 9 days to run, and ticket sales are disappointing, so you’re still in with a good chance of winning, and all for a great cause!
