DG010: “The 12 Labours of Honeybees” (12-string Telecaster Thinline style)

My first Derelict 12-string. ‘Honeybees’ is a Tele Thinline with a golden honey beech top, deep natural walnut back, and white purfling. A brushed aluminium partial pickguard and chrome hardware, including locking tuners, finish her off. It’s got a big beefy 3+3 humbucker pickup in the neck, plus a 12-saddle Tele bridge with a Seymour Duncan Phat Cat P90 pickup. The humbucker sounds warm and resonant (thanks to the chambering), and the P90 is nice and bright and sparkly.

Update: she has been out for a few gigs with a CSN tribute band, and is reportedly acquitting herself very nicely. So nicely that they’ve ordered one, so she will be back home soon!
