I wanted to challenge myself with a different design. After limited success in my amateur days building arch-top semi-hollows, I figured I should give one of those a go again. The result is this Rickenbacker 355JL copy. I used ash, being slightly easier to work with a chisel than my usual woods, however she remains unfinished. She has a yellow gloss sides and back, and is going to have a dirty mustard front, and is configured for triple mini-humbuckers plus a Bigsby trem.
She has had a few neck issues, and so is scheduled for completion in May 2022.
